Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, singer and actress most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her acting career began in stage shows during the 1950s, beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then she appeared in numerous Broadway productions before she became a star on national stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. Her album, It's too late for Tina that same year. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood playing Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film received a lot of praise as well as Louise received an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In this time, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work with ease with a variety of roles between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting in somber roles against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she has also made a name for herself as a successful director in numerous well-known TV shows like Supernatural and The 100. Her family relocated out of Essex to Toronto and she lived there for growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision for the role of lead.
