Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast reporter. She is most well-known as anchor of CNN's morning program At This Hour. She also co-anchored the CNN Monday morning show New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member of CNN's award-winning coverage of the presidential elections of 2012 as well as 2016. Bolduan has also been an official correspondent for the congressional office at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. During her membership for the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on the legislative cycle and events in the Congress, such as talks to increase the debt ceiling for federal government as well as the super committee's discussion. The work she has done for her general assignments included stories regarding the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource as National Correspondent back in 2007. She was the CNN Newsource national correspondent, providing breaking news and feature reports to over 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations. In the past, she was a reporter for NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV. Her family lives within New York City.
